Neil Andrew Stein, Esquire working closely with Upper Moreland Township, Langan Engineering and AIA of Barton & Partners, obtained a change of zoning and land development approval to permit adaptive reuse of a one 100,000 sq. ft. vacant industrial building in Upper Moreland Township. The property will developed by Buccini Pollin Group as a new multi-family project of 246 units, with recreational amenities and public improvements.

Governor Tom Wolf recently confirmed that as of January 1, 2016, Pennsylvania’s Capital Stock and Foreign Franchise tax (the “CST“) has been phased out. There have been several last minute resurrections of the CST, but it looks to have finally met its slow and painful end.

Subaru of America Inc. is looking for a new North American headquarters site, and the real estate buzz is that Philadelphia’s Navy Yard is under consideration. The automaker has been in its current Cherry Hills, New Jersey, building since 1986.
